Sharing warmth, one blanket at a time

Charlie’s Blanket Closet is a community outreach initiative founded by 5th-grader Charlie. Together, we are gathering warm essentials for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

How you can help

Our current goal is to collect 50 warm blankets alongside everyday winter essentials to support our neighbors across Washington, DC./Maryland  area

Warm blankets

Our primary mission is collecting 50 new or gently used clean blankets to offer comfort and warmth through cold weather.

Winter accessories

Hats and insulated gloves help protect against harsh winter winds. Every donated pair brings vital protection and care.

Cozy socks

Clean, warm socks are among the most requested yet least donated necessities for people experiencing homelessness.

Travel toiletries

Hygiene kits with travel-size soap, toothpaste, lotion, and shampoo provide dignity and practical daily care.

"Everyone deserves to feel warm, cared for, and remembered. One blanket, one person, one act of kindness at a time."
