What we are collecting
Every contribution makes an immediate impact. We gladly accept both new and gently used clean items that provide comfort and dignity to individuals and families throughout the Washington, D.C. area.
Cozy blankets
Our primary goal is gathering 50 warm blankets. We accept new or gently used, clean fleece, wool, and heavy blankets of any size to shield against the cold.
Hats, gloves, and socks
Thick warm socks, insulated gloves, mittens, and knit beanies protect our neighbors against freezing temperatures during long winter days and nights outdoors.
Travel toiletries
Compact everyday hygiene essentials like shampoo, body wash, lotion, toothpaste, and hand sanitizer make a huge difference in personal comfort and daily care.

You can donate items directly through our scheduled local collection days or have essentials delivered right to our door via our online wishlist. Whether you pick up an extra pair of socks while running errands or order a blanket online, your support directly fuels Charlie’s outreach.
